Our mission is to provide
a gateway for Westmoreland County residents and employees to empower
our youth for a successful and resilient tomorrow.
Westmoreland Youth Excel (WYE) is an organization designed to assist
communities in organizing and forming community initiatives. Greater
Latrobe Asset Builders (GLAD) and Jeannette Asset Builders (JAB)
are examples of communities infusing the Developmental Asset Approach,
which actively promotes youth as assets and builds resiliency. Click

Greater Latrobe Asset Developers in conjunction with the Saint
Vincent College Prevention Projects is proud to announce that we
are the Pennsylvania State Distributorship for all Search Institute
Materials. To

WYE is not a program, but a change in your lifestyle and thinking.
We work in collaboration with existing companies, organizations,
task forces, and etc., to provide resources, trainings, workshops,
lectures, handouts, and other information as well a as act as a
support system for the community initiatives.
Services we can provide:
- Facilitating in the establishment of a Community Initiative
for building Developmental Assets and Resiliency
- Trainings, lectures and workshops on a variety of subjects
such as Self-Esteem, Parenting, How To Encourage Youth To Become
More Productive, and How To Motivate Employees
- Net-working with a local and county-wide organizations, task
forces, religious leaders, community leaders, judicial systems,
governmental institutions, school institutions, and businesses
